The Posts tab (located at /instagram/post) allows you to configure targeted comment-driven marketing funnels for individual feed posts, carousels, and reels. In the modern Instagram Agent architecture, post automations are template-driven, meaning you assign pre-built templates from your Template Library to handle public replies and private direct messages.

When you open the Posts page, Kipps.AI automatically synchronizes your recently published Instagram media:

• Media Preview: Thumbnail image or reel cover frame.

2. Template-Driven Automation Setup

To configure automation for any post, click on the post card to open the automation modal. You can assign up to two template automations per post:

Feature 1: Comment → Comment (Public Reply)

Automatically posts a public reply to any user who leaves a comment on this specific post:

1. Click Comment → Comment to open the assignment modal.
2. Select an approved template from the dropdown. The list is automatically filtered to templates created with the category comment_to_comment.
3. If you haven't created a comment template yet, click Create Template to navigate to the Template Library.
4. Click Save to activate.

Feature 2: Comment → DM (Private Outreach)

Instantly delivers a private direct message containing resources, links, or discounts to the commenter's Instagram inbox:

1. Click Comment → DM on the post card.
2. Select a template from the dropdown. The list is filtered to templates created with the category comment_to_dm.
3. The selected template can be plain text or a rich button card with external URL links.
4. Click Save to activate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to enable both Comment → Comment and Comment → DM for every post? No. You can enable only Comment → Comment (public reply), only Comment → DM (private direct message), or both. If you only want to send a private link without a public reply, simply assign a template under Comment → DM and leave Comment → Comment disabled.

Why can't I see my newly published reel or post in the grid? Kipps.AI syncs media from Meta periodically. If a new post doesn't appear immediately, refresh your browser or ensure the post was published to the connected professional account and that the Facebook Page has permission to view page media.

Can I customize the template text for a specific post without editing the template library? Templates are centralized in the Template Library. To change the copy for a specific post, either select a different template or edit/duplicate the template in the Template Library. Updates made to a template immediately apply to all posts referencing it.

What happens if a user comments multiple times on the same post? The automation will reply to each new top-level comment. However, Meta imposes spam rate limits and messaging windows, so ensure your calls-to-action encourage single keyword triggers (e.g., "Comment DEMO once").

Does Comment-to-DM work if the user has a private profile? Yes, as long as the user's Instagram settings permit message requests from business accounts. The DM will arrive in their primary inbox or message requests folder depending on whether they follow your account.
