Upload WhatsApp media assets

The Assets tab stores media files for a WhatsApp agent. Each file gets a URL that you can paste wherever a node or function asks for a media link. The tab is available on AI and Flow agents.

Upload a file

1. Open your WhatsApp agent and select Assets in the sidebar.
2. In the upload area, select a file or drag it in.
3. Wait for the upload to finish. The file appears in the list, and Total Files updates.

Supported formats are images, videos, audio, and PDF files. Each file must be smaller than 20 MB. You need permission to manage integrations to upload or delete files.

Use a file

Select a file to preview it. Select the copy icon to copy its URL, then paste the URL where you need it, for example in the media field of a Flow Builder node or in the media header of a WhatsApp function.

Delete a file

Select the bin icon on a file and confirm. Deleting a file removes its URL, so a flow or function that uses the URL can no longer send the file.

Troubleshoot

The upload is rejected. Check that the file is an image, video, audio file, or PDF, and that it is under 20 MB.

A flow does not send my file. Check that the URL in the node still matches a file in the Assets tab.
