Troubleshooting
LinkedIn leads are being submitted but the campaign participant count stays at 0. Verify the Webhook Callback URL from Kipps.AI is correctly configured in LinkedIn's Lead Gen Form settings. In LinkedIn Campaign Manager, the webhook is set under the Lead Gen Form details—not at the campaign or ad level. Also check that the Verify Token matches exactly.
The LinkedIn integration keeps failing with an authentication error.
Ensure the Page Access Token has the correct permissions. The token needs r_liteprofile, rw_organization_admin, and lead gen webhook permissions. Generate a new token from the LinkedIn Developer portal if the existing one has expired or lacks permissions.
Test submissions from LinkedIn succeed but real lead submissions don't trigger calls. LinkedIn test webhooks and live lead submissions follow different paths. Confirm the lead form is attached to an active sponsored campaign that is currently serving. Only live form submissions trigger the production webhook.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this integration work with LinkedIn personal profiles or only Company Pages? The LinkedIn Lead Gen Ad integration works with LinkedIn Company Pages. Ads must be run through LinkedIn Campaign Manager using a Company Page, not through a personal profile.
How quickly does a LinkedIn lead trigger an outbound call? LinkedIn sends webhook notifications when a lead submits the form. Kipps.AI processes the notification and queues the call in near real-time, typically reaching the lead within minutes of their form submission.
What lead data fields does LinkedIn send to Kipps.AI? LinkedIn sends the fields your lead gen form collected, which typically include name, email address, phone number, job title, and company name. The exact fields depend on what you configured in the lead form.
Can I use the same LinkedIn integration for both voice and WhatsApp campaigns? Yes. Once the LinkedIn Lead Generation Ad integration is active, you can select it as the audience source for any type of campaign—voice or WhatsApp—independently.
What happens if a LinkedIn user submits the same lead form more than once? Duplicate submissions with the same phone number are typically deduplicated. If the same number is already enrolled in the active campaign, the duplicate submission is ignored. Check your campaign settings for deduplication behavior.
